Venetian specialties served in a traditional-style restaurant dating back to 1775, plus a terrace.
We have chosen to use products from local farms and farmers by participating in the Coldiretti “Campagna Amica nel Piatto” project because there is nothing more unique and extraordinary than what nature offers us every day. From the land to the sea.
We strive to enhance flavors, aromas, and colors while respecting the seasons and beyond, personally seeking good, dualistic products.
Based on the recovery of traditional knowledge and production techniques, animal welfare, and respect for the land, that is, produced under working conditions that respect people, because there is no truth other than that of the ingredients.
By doing this, we help keep tradition and uniqueness alive in our dishes using
local, typical, and Slow Food-supported products.
In the heart of Mestre, just steps from the old tower, lies Osteria Cuccagna under the same name since 1775, on a pedestrianized street. Cuccagna is dedicated to the ongoing rediscovery of old dishes from both the Venetian and Venetian traditions. It is also recognized as a local restaurant, specializing in typical and traditional products of the province. It uses Slow Food Presidia products. Inside, it seats 40, and in the summer, it seats 30 outside.
Our chef various areas of traditional Italian cuisine, such as pasta-making, charcuterie, or regional dishes, or focus on a specific role within a kitchen, like pastry or grilling.
